FYidoctors Expands Presence in the Maritimes

Posted on May 7th, 2015

FYidoctors has just brought on two new practices in the Quispamsis and St. John area of Canada's Maritimes. Dr. Jason Saunders and Dr. Darren MacLean join the FYidoctors team as native Maritimers with extensive experience having practiced optometry for more than 15 years. Their locations, Landing Clinic and Mountain Road Optometry, will be equipped with a range of current diagnostic technology and a wide selection of designer, boutique and exclusive label frames.

“I am pleased to welcome yet another successful group from the Maritimes into the FYidoctors family. Dr. Jason Saunders and Dr. Darren MacLean bring their two clinics in the St. John area with the intent to join forces with Dr. Krista McDevitt and her team to form yet another FYidoctors flagship and Centre of Clinical Excellence. These consolidations, of respected local doctors to form clinics that both that their teams and the community alike can be proud of, are part of our core strategy in FYidoctors," says FYidoctors CEO and President, Dr. Alan Ulsifer.

Dr. Jason Saunders and Dr. Darren MacLean will soon merge with Dr. Krista McDevitt and her team to establish a new Maritimes FYidoctors flagship location. The office will offer detailed pre-testing, comprehensive eye exams, a menu of current lens technology and custom fittings with our electronic measurement devices.

Dr. Jason Saunders added, “I am extremely excited to be joining the FYidoctors family. FYidoctors represents the pinnacle of patient care and eye care in Canada and I am thrilled to be able to offer their portfolio of services and products to my patients. The merger of my Mountain Road Optometry location with the FYidoctors location on Westmorland Road into a brand new flagship location in East Point, will give our Saint John patients access to an unparalleled eye care experience. The eye care world in Saint John is about to get turned upside down. I can't wait to be a part of it!”
