About the Eye

The eye functions very much like a camera. Light enters the eye through the cornea, passes through the pupil, and is focused by the lens onto the retina.

Learn more about how your eyes work, including common issues presbyopia (age-related loss of near vision) and conjunctivitis (redness, itching and swelling, common on kids).

Eye Conditions

A big part of maintaining eye health is monitoring for the early signs of various eye diseases and conditions. That’s why regular eye exams are important at any age. They can help detect the following conditions in their earliest stages.
