Nestled in the heart of Toronto’s vibrant business district, FYidoctors’ Commerce Court and College Park sister clinics combine the high-tech bustle of city life with the classic close-knit community feel that FYidoctors is known for.
Both locations were opened by Dr. Winston Koo, one of the founders of FYidoctors, who, along with his team of ODs, travels between both clinics. This allows for clients to meet with their preferred OD wherever it’s easiest, based on their schedules.
The first clinic at College Park opened its doors right beside what is now Service Ontario in the centre of the health service district located at 777 Bay St. in 1993. The clinic transitioned to the FYidoctors family in 2008. If you’ve ever renewed your health card or dealt with your driver’s license at this location, you’ve definitely passed by this clinic.
The flagship location in Commerce Court opened in 2013 and is part of the famous PATH, an underground pedestrian walkway that spans a whopping 30 kilometres. Running through the heart of the Toronto’s financial district, the PATH is filled with restaurants, retail, services, and entertainment attractions. The clinic is situated under the historical Canadian Bank of Commerce building, that was once considered the tallest building in the British Commonwealth. The clinic even inherited the bank vault—a tourist favourite! Because the location is such a popular filming site, you can see the clinic in the background of popular productions such as Suits, Total Recall, and Clarice.
The team is diverse and enjoys many hobbies, from baking artisanal bread and trying out new foodie recipes, to hiking and supporting Toronto’s beloved sports teams. The staff also gives back to the community by donating to their very own Enhancing Life Foundation as well as the Lion’s Club.
The staff at these two clinics offer comprehensive examinations with advanced Optomap digital retinal imaging and offer advanced OCT and Visual Field testing and specialty contact lenses. The optometrists are all skilled experts in fitting specialty contact lenses, including Rigid Gas Permeable and Scleral lenses.

She holds degrees from McGill University and the New England College of Optometry in Boston, where she received the Presidential Scholarship.
