Our Optometrists
Benjamin Inglis
Dr. Inglis grew up on the Saskatchewan prairies and graduated from the University of Regina with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. In 2016 he received his Doctorate in Optometry as a member of the Dean's Honours List from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry and Vision Science. During his optometric training, he spent four months in Dallas, Texas, at the Parkland Health and Hospital Systems Department of Ophthalmology, where he observed and managed various eye diseases and conditions. Since then, Dr. Inglis has accompanied Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH) mission trips to Romania and Ecuador and looks forward to future opportunities to travel and practice optometry abroad. During his free time, he enjoys camping, hiking and foraging, running, cooking and baking, 5-pin bowling, and spending time with friends and family. Dr. Inglis is excited to be a part of the FYidoctors team and is passionate about providing a warm and professional eye care experience to the Cowichan Valley and surrounding communities.
Craig Reavley
Dr. Craig Reavley originally hails from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. After graduating from the University of Waterloo in 1989, he moved to Victoria where he assumed ownership of a well-established downtown practice. Ultimately looking for the quality of life that only the Valley can offer, he headed north in 2003 and joined what was Eye Design Optometry, now FYidoctors. He has participated in and lead teams on eye care missions in various Latin American locations and carries on this work at home with his active membership in the Duncan DayBreak Rotary Club.
