We understand that while prescription glasses are medical devices, they’re also a reflection of your personal style. And we believe that your eyewear can be both. We understand how important it is to find the right pair of eyeglasses, which is why every FYidoctors features a wide variety of frame styles. We also produce our own lenses at our Delta Lab in Vancouver, so we can manufacture lenses tailored to your prescription and individual measurements.

With over 370 eye clinics across Canada, chances are there’s an FYidoctors clinic near you. Our devoted team of optometrists, opticians and eyecare experts are there to enhance your vision. At FYidoctors, we prioritize your eyes and recommend products that address your individual needs. Whether you're updating your prescription, purchasing single vision, prescription eyeglasses or sunglasses, we’re there for you every step of the way.

FAQ

How can I get a copy of my prescription?

Think of your cornea as a clear, rounded dome over the surface of your eye. In people with astigmatism, that dome isn't perfectly rounded-it's shaped more like an egg or a football. The irregular shape of the cornea affects how light is focused inside the eye. An evenly round cornea (without astigmatism, as seen below) focuses light rays into a single point on the retina at the back of the eye, producing a clear image.
