Dr. Sipprell is from Quispamsis, NB and received her Honours in Biology Chemistry from the University of New Brunswick, Fredericton Campus. She completed her Optometry Degree at the University of Waterloo, where she had the opportunity to do externships in general optometry in Houston, TX and in Vision Therapy in Calgary, AB, as well as to takepart in missionary work in Romania.

Originally from Fredericton, NB, Dr. Saunders completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biopsychology from UNB Fredericton in 1993, where he was class valedictorian. He then moved to Waterloo to complete the Doctor of Optometry program at the University of Waterloo in 1997. As part of his training, he completed an internship in ocular pathology at the Eye Institute in New Port Ritchy, Florida.
After graduation, he moved to Quispamsis and formed Landing Clinic, Inc. He has been an active member of the New Brunswick Association of Optometrists (NBAO), having served as President from 2006-2008. In 2010, he expanded his practice to include Mountain Road Optometry in East Saint John. He joined to become a partner of FYidoctors in early 2015.
Darren, originally from New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, was recently married in Rothesay, New Brunswick. Both he and his new wife, Lindsay, always wanted to end up back on the east coast, to be close to family and friends. Darren has a BSc ('06) and completed his Master's degree in Chemistry at Dalhousie in 2008 before going to Waterloo for Optometry (class of 2013). He did part of his clinical training in Bethesda, Maryland at the Cataract and Laser Eye Institute. Darren wanted to get into optometry around the time that he was doing his Master's degree - he didn't want to spend his life cooped up in a lab with no interaction with people. At the same time, he first started getting into wearing contact lenses and after a few appointments at the optometrist and some job shadowing, he realized that's the career he wanted to pursue. Darren did one of his clinical rotations with Dr. Saunders and when the opportunity arose to work here permanently it was and easy decision.
Darren loves spending time with friends and family, enjoys following and watching all sports, and you'll catch him on the golf course or the softball field in the summer!
