Dr. Anisha Bhagat graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2012 and joined the practice in 2013 as an associate. Her special interests include contact lenses, ocular disease and pediatrics.
Dr. Bhagat was born in England, raised in Surrey, B.C. and currently resides in Burnaby, B.C. where she is looking forward to becoming an involved member of the community. During her free time she enjoys biking, travelling and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Angela Hern graduated from the University of Waterloo in 2001 and practiced in her home province of Saskatchewan before moving to B.C. She joined the practice in 2002 before becoming a partner in 2006.
She is a former member of the Quality Assurance Committee for the Board of Examiners in Optometry.
Currently, Dr. Hern resides in Vancouver with her husband Dee Jay, a software engineer and their twins, Alexander and Elizabeth. In her spare time she enjoys curling, running and travelling.
Dr. Sandeep Sidhu completed his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of British Columbia in 2005. He then went on to finish his studies at the Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon and graduated in 2009. In that same year he joined the practice as an Associate. Special areas of interest for Dr. Sidhu include ocular disease and pediatrics.
He was born and raised in Surrey B.C., where he currently resides with his wife Shubneek, an elementary school teacher. In his spare time he enjoys discussing eye care issues on the RED FM 93.1 radio station. He also enjoys fitness, hockey, golf, and travelling.
Dr. Kimberly Tsang graduated from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry in 2008 and practiced in the Comox Valley before joining FYidoctors - Surrey in 2014. She enjoys practicing full scope optometry and welcomes new patients and families.
Dr. Tsang has been involved with optometry - both in and out of the office; she volunteers her time with the British Columbia Association of Optometrists and has traveled and led four separate third world eye care mission trips to Mexico. She has been actively involved in Rotary in the past and is looking forward to being a more involved member in her new community.
During her free time, Dr. Tsang enjoys performing in musical theatre, fitness, ultimate frisbee, travelling and spending time with her partner, Tyler, their dog, Zelda, and their extended family.
Dr. Yin Li obtained her undergraduate degree at the University of Western Ontario and her optometry degree with honors from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry. She then went on to the University of Alabama at Birmingham, completing a residency in Cornea and Contact Lenses and serving as an Assistant Professor in the Primary Care and Contact Lens curriculums, before relocating to beautiful Vancouver.
Dr. Li has a passion for fitting specialty contact lenses for a variety of purposes including: enhancing vision in conditions such as keratoconus as well as following surgery or trauma, increasing comfort in dry eye patients and reducing the rate of myopia progression (near-sightedness) in children.
Dr. Li’s love of travel and optometry has led her to medical optometry mission trips to Guatemala, Jamaica and Grenada. When she is not travelling, she can be found relaxing at home with her furry labradoodle, Cooper.
